Dakota Ryley started her career at 14 when she attended a songwriting camp at SUNY Purchase in Purchase, NY. Her craft began to develop and ultimately inspired her to move to Nashville to pursue music. Cut to 2020, a songwriter in the heart of a pandemic, Dakota discovered her love for R&B / Pop music, and thus a new venture began. Her single “This Feeling” organically generating over 80,000 streams on Spotify alone. All together, her music has generated over 120,000 streams in eight short months. After four years in the Mike Curb College of Entertainment and Music Business pursuing songwriting, she decided this year to make her debut as an artist, blending contemporary pop sounds with old Motown musical motifs. Her new single, “My Own Advice” is a testament to the honesty and authenticity she strives to achieve with her audience, as well as how she wears her heart on her sleeve.
